Lookout Mountain is rich in history and there are many historical sites located there.  The Civil War "Battle Above The Clouds", Point Park, and Ochs Memorial Observatory just to name a few.  
 
Outdoor recreation is popular in this area with places such as Glen Falls Trail, Sunset Rock, Lula Lake and Bluff Trail.  Adventure enthusiasts can try hang gliding at Lookout Mountain Flight Park. Cloudland Canyon is a State Park located on Lookout Mountain where many enjoy hiking and biking.

Residents can grab a quick bite at Cafe on the Corner or Cafe 7 located at Rock City.  The Lookout Mountain Club offers country club amenities including fine dining, golf and swimming.  The Creag is located at McLemore where you can golf and dine.
 
Things To Do
 
Ruby Falls and Rock City are two main attractions located on Lookout Mountain. Lovers Leap is located close to Rock City and allows views of seven states.  The Incline takes visitors to the top of Lookout Mountain on a century-old rail system.  Many festivals are held throughout the year at both Rock City and Ruby Falls.

Schools
