Downtown is home to the minor league baseball team the Chattanooga Lookouts and AT&T field.

Miller Park and Coolidge Park provide residents green space for family fun.  The Riverwalk spans downtown and is great for bicycling or walking.  Music festivals are a way of life downtown from Riverbend, 3 Sisters Bluegrass Festival, Nightfall and Riverfront Nights.
 
Overlooking the Tennessee River, Bluff View Art District specializes in visual, culinary and landscape art.  The Hunter Art Museum is next door and River Gallery Sculpture Garden.  Also downtown is the Bessie Smith Cultural Center home to African American history.
 
Dining and Entertainment
 
There are a variety of dining options downtown including coffee shops, pubs and bars.  Food Truck Alley is the city's food truck park and is located off Market Street.
 
Things To Do
 
The Tennessee Aquarium draws tourists and residents year round.  Nearby the IMAX theater and AMC show a variety of films.  Downtown also offers children the Creative Discovery Museum.  Other attractions include National Medal of Honor, Chattanooga Pinball Museum, Civil Axe Throwing and iGNis Glass Studio.
 
A variety of shops include jewelry stores, clothing stores, and boutiques.  The West Village is also a popular area and offers various restaurants and shopping.
